Classroom Visits
Rather than travelling to a destination, why not have the “destination” come to you? By inviting a YETI author to your school, you will not only be entertained, but you will also receive an inspiring workshop. Currently, we have four featured workshops that can be adapted to any subject or lesson plan. Please let us know before hand if there are any special plans. 

Workshops can be as low as $2.50 per student, and can range from 45 min to half day to a full week session. Check the table below to see what works for you.

A. Making the Legends of Tomorrow 
Revolving around team building and participation, this group workshop will leave the class with a special creation. 
Grades: 3 and up / 60 min (can be extended) Class Size: 35+ students (can be mixed)

B. Myth Making 
How do imaginary characters get created? Students will have fun learning about myths and legends during a read along. Students will then create a mythical creature with a YETI Artist.
Grades: JK - 2 / 45 min (can be extended) Class Size: 10-35 students

C. Trading Cards (press here for examples)
Re-imagine a historic figure, or create a hero according to a Science experiment. In this workshop, students will produce their own authentic trading cards like Pokemon or Magic
Grades: 3 - 8 / 120 min (*Recommended but can be extended) / Class Size: 10-35 students

D. Graphic Storytelling (press here for examples)
This workshop introduces students to the world of communication using marketing and educational strategies. Students will walk away with their own issue, or be included in a class anthology.
